We specialize in products for those dealing with sensitivities and for those making a conscience effort to try to purchase a more natural personal care product with full disclosure of ingredients. Our Pure Natural Soaps line is dedicated to the creation of a more back to basics, reasonably priced, long lasting Natural Soap and Natural Shampoo Bar with a family's budget in mind.  All of the soaps in this collection are 100% Vegan and feel wonderful on the skin.  In keeping with the vision of a family bar, and the use by children, we have chosen to make these bars very lightly scented with only Pure Essential Oils.  We are very particular about our ingredients.  As we choose to live a basic, more natural lifestyle we are constantly searching for a healthy alternative with less impact on our bodies and the environment.  This philosophy has influenced the type of Natural Soap that we have chosen to make. We direct 5 cents of every dollar of sales to Plan Canada. We support their Borehole Project which drills wells in villages located in impoverished countries throughout the world. 	Unscented Basic Bar Pure Natural Soap	Ingredients: First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 100% Pure Coconut Oil, 100% Pure Sunflower Seed Oil & Certified Organic non-hydrogenated Palm Oil Shortening (ethically harvested), Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide.
	Oatmeal Pure Natural Soap	Ingredients as listed for Unscented Basic Bar, plus finely ground Certified Organic Oatmeal and finely ground Certified Organic Lavender Buds. Lightly scented with Essential Oils of: Certified Organic Bulgarian Lavender, Spearmint and Certified Organic peel expressed Sweet Orange.
	Hint of Lime  Pure Natural Soap	Ingredients as listed for Unscented Basic Bar, plus Certified Organic Coconut Milk, finely ground certified organic Chamomile blossoms and lightly scented with Essential Oils of: Whole Fruit Steam Distilled Lime, Ylang Ylang, Rosemary and Certified Organic peel expressed Sweet Orange.

Soap Slabs   All of our Pure Natural Soap selections, including the Castile varieties of 100% Olive Oil Soap are available to be ordered in a large block of over 800 g. equivalent to 8 of our regular size bars of Pure Natural Soap.  Vegetable Oil soap is similar in texture to a semi-hard cheese and you can easily cut your own bars from a larger more cost-effective block.  Our Soap Slab is of excellent quality, a wonderful handmade Natural Soap by cold process soapmaking and a beautiful gift idea for a family which values natural products or those paying particular attention to ingredients in their personal care items.  Please inquire for availability if of interest, larger amounts will require time for manufacture and curing.

Our First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil Soap is created for those wishing an even more basic, pure Olive Oil bar or to deal with sensitivities to Coconut, Palm Oil or other ingredients.  True Castile Soap has been used for centuries and is still recommended regularly as a basic natural cleansing option.  Our absolute most basic variety is Olive Oil ONLY Soap with as few ingredients as a soap can get!   Pure Olive Oil Natural Soap has a very fine lather with a creamy texture on the skin, similar to a lotion and therefore can be used for several purposes including a Shampoo bar.  If you wish to create a more bubbly lather a Bath Puff or a Bamboo & Jute Soap Mitt is very useful for this purpose.  See our Bath Accessory section at www.naturallipbalm4u.com.     When dealing with a skin reaction to a particular ingredient in personal care products it can be a daunting task to determine the culprit if there is a long ingredient list.  Many professionals will recommend a basic soap.  Skin contact allergy to Olive Oil is considered rare to extremely rare.

Our 100% Pure Olive Oil Soaps are made from only First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil of excellent quality from Greece.  We have found that the quality of the soap and the way it feels on the skin are very much effected by the integrity of the ingredients.  We make Unscented Pure Olive Oil Soap for those wishing a product without the addition of scent or for those forced to deal with sensitivities.  True Castile Soap has a different feel and is a creamy texture, not overly bubbly.  If you prefer a more bubbly soap you may wish to try the Vegetable Oil Blends offered above.   Our Olive Oil Soaps may be presented as a Gift Collection if you should choose, there are three options in the Pure Natural Soap Gift Collections above which may be exclusively Olive Oil Soaps should you prefer.    Please visit Natural Soap Gift Sets .com for other wonderful inexpensive gift ideas with truly natural product with that handmade care.

Olive Oil Soap ~ Lavender   This bar is created for those wishing a true Castille Soap which has been made in a similar manner since the 15th Century.  Extremely lightly scented with certified organic Essential Oil of Bulgarian Lavender, our favourite variety of Lavandula Angustifolia.  Excellent as a Baby Soap, for sensitive or easily irritated skin and for those with limiting sensitivities.  Makes a very nice one-step shampoo and conditioning bar with no need to condition after washing.   It lathers very well on the hair leaving it soft, shiny and manageable.  Pure Olive Oil Soap makes a gentle wash for fine woolens as well as a key ingredient in the making of natural homemade laundry soaps when grated.  Ingredients:  First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, certified organic Essential Oil of Bulgarian Lavender.     Olive Oil ONLY Soap   Our absolute most basic soap with only three ingredients.  First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Greece, Distilled Water and Sodium Hydroxide, that's it.  Same usage suggestions as Olive Oil ~ Lavender above.      Olive Oil Soap ~ Rosemary-Mint   Pure Castile Soaps are preferred as a more basic cleansing product for those dealing with sensitivity issues.  This very lightly scented variety also makes a very nice one-step shampoo and conditioning bar, lathering well and leaving the hair soft, shiny and manageable.  Pure Olive Oil Soaps are recommended by many for washing wool and as an important ingredient in home made laundry soap. Ingredients:  First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Essential Oils of Rosemary and Certified Organic Peppermint.

A word about 100% Pure Olive Oil Natural Soaps   The term "natural" is not a regulated term.  It can refer to the colour of a product, a misleading product name or may even be one ingredient in a list of 50 that remotely resembles something considered to be natural.  If you are concerned about ingredients you are putting on your skin it is necessary to be as diligent in your investigations of cosmetic ingredients as you are with investigations of food ingredients.  Many "natural" soapmakers use Olive Oil in the form of Olive Pomace Oil, a low grade variety which may contain solvent residue.  Don't be afraid to ask questions, all Olive Oil Soap is not created equal.  First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the most valued cut of Olive Oil and is naturally rich in emollients.          Great ingredients make for a great batch of soap.   We make Pure Natural Soaps by hand in small batches with ingredients that you can feel good about using.  A long lasting, more basic cleansing alternative which feels wonderful on the skin.

Please Note:  As our Olive Oil Soaps are naturally rich in emollients and we do not use any preservatives, dyes or colourants you may find a slight yellowing or a small orange dot on the soap during times of high humidity.  This only effects the appearance of the soap and should you prefer the discolouration may be cut from the bar.  100% Pure Vegetable Oil Soap is a very pliable bar and may be carefully cut into smaller pieces as it has a texture similar to that of semi-hard cheese.
